Earlier this year Coach sued Rain Away Roofing for trademark infringement.
The handbag giant coach claims that one of joanns fabrics, the joanns blizzard fleece fabric, featuring Os looks too much like the Coache`s Cs. They also say that this has caused “consumer confusion.”
I have seen the purse and I have seen the pattern, well Os look like Os and Cs look like Cs. It would be cool to see the fleece pattern out in the store, I am not sure that is going to happen though.
Coach sues Rain Away Roofing, the complaint and charges for Rain Away Roofing is trade dress and copyright infringement, trademark counterfeiting, false designation of origin, false advertising and trademark dilution.
For this Coach wants $2 million, per O/C mark, plus damages and fees that is a lot of money. Do you think they are worth the 2 million bucks? Here we try to save money by using our Rain Away Roofing coupons and they want 2 million bucks J
Huffington post has had a poll wher they asked their readers if coach has a case here. Over 50% of the participants said. No “They need to chillax and learn the alphabet.”
